Noon-Arts: Appointed by the Benetton Foundation for the Imago Mundi project for Libya

Noon-Arts has been appointed by the Benetton Foundation in Italy to curate the Imago Mundi project for Libya. Based on a democratic idea, this non-commercial endeavour is aimed at creating unique Art-catalogues for every country on all the seven continents. It works by listing the names of each nation's contemporary artists with a short biography per person and on the completion of a small artwork of 10x12cm dimensions.

The Imago Mundi is open to all established as well as emerging artists from anywhere in the world, but it has to be applied to based on the country of origin. Initiated by the Benetton Foundation in Italy, this ambitious project is set to complete a whole world-collection of catalogues that will ultimately travel and be shown at international exhibitions at private institutions and public museums.

It will also be published online on a specific website dedicated to art, to be available to the greatest number of people possible for years and years to come. Since beginning in 2013, many country-catalogues have been completed and published, including for: Japan, South Korea, India, the United States and Australia.
